Little Spotty Dog

So I thought it about time I shared a post about a very important person in our lives here at Pratt's Patch, Ffion our dalmatian/springer cross dog.

She brings a lot of joy and laughter to our family...

She loves the sea and is a springy little dog!

She particularly loves climbing, and posing for photos....

which makes her a great subject for practising with a new camera as I was here!

This one was taken by our son Lewis, who is a keen photographer and the brains behind a great new photography subscription service

She also thinks we have purchased a leather settee just for her!

These guys are two of her best friends and they definitely rule the roost!

Time crafting with little sister and family week!

Emily getting busy with a sewing machine!  After sitting in the lovely sun cutting squares from old jeans and vintage fabric Emily begins to construct her patchwork throw!

The Macaron story continues......

Well folks after a wonderful start to Macaron making things went pear shaped (or none Macaron shaped!!) various techniques, books, blogs later could not explain my problem - flat, empty, soggy, no feet, would be macarons!! Lots of ground almond and egg white later I decided to contact my mum!!!! And what a success that was- again my search for macaron heaven came true!

Now my quest is ended- I may try again some time!!

The Travelling son!!!

Well our Lewis has been travelling for 9 days he has been to: London, Paris, Dijon, Nice, Milan... wow what a lot! Also seen his grandparents on the way and celebrated Bastille day with them.  Off next to Zurich.  Follow his blog http://lewisislost.blogspot.com/

So here are our two furry boys!  Hurley (fluffy guy) and Jynx (black guy).  They love their cat house too- both of them are in it in the photo- difficult to see Jynx but he is there. These two guys are partners in crime and always together.
