These are a few items we have rescued from the tip or car boot sales. Ready and waiting for a new lease of life. After having read The Occasional Pat blog I too have decided to try Annie Sloan chalky paint. will post the outcomes as they emerge!
Yes the 3rd one is a sewing box £5 at a car boot! I have chosen Ochre to begin with- and have already primed the little chest with french grey Farrow & Ball- I have used vinegar to bring the brass handles back to life! So may do top coat in ochre- I plan to use the same colour on the table with decoupage too.
Fab pieces, I'm sure all of them will look good painted. Is the third one down a sewing box? What colours have you chosen?
